Junior Civitan is one of the many clubs here at Baker. Its focus is on special needs and disabled students at school and in the community. By helping out at fun events like the Regional School for the Deaf and Blind's spring fling, Goodwill Easter Seal's Christmas dance and recycling center, the Special Olympics, and so many more, members are able to develop lasting friendships with fellow students and become ambassadors for those with special needs.

Sponsors for the club are Ms. Stokley and Mrs. Jernigan. Student leaders are President Hannah Robinson, Vice President Mya Nobles, Secretary Tyaira Mcloud, Treasurer Jade Madison, and Leadership Chairs Jessica Reese and Julia Eden. This fun and beneficial club offers compassionate students a chance to get involved and make a difference in our world.

This organization is so easy to join! In the fall of next year, fill out an application, which can be found on the Junior Civitan page of the Baker website, and turn it in to one of the sponsors. Members must maintain a minimum of service hours and be able to attend meetings. Hope to see you next year!
